We’re proud to share that Bright Path’s work has been recognised by Creative Black Country, who recently featured our project supporting mothers in Sedgley.
As part of their Creative Communities programme, this work focused on creating safe, welcoming spaces where women could come together, connect and express themselves through creativity. Through relaxed, inclusive sessions, mothers were given the opportunity to step away from the pressures of daily life, build confidence and form meaningful connections with others who understand their experiences.
The feature highlights the impact of these sessions—not just as creative workshops, but as spaces for emotional support, shared understanding and renewed energy. Many of the women involved spoke about the importance of having somewhere they could simply be themselves, without judgement.
This project reflects what sits at the heart of Bright Path—creating environments where people feel safe, supported and able to move forward. Whether working with families, young people or leaders, we believe that when people feel understood and connected, positive change becomes possible.
